The WORLD FRIENDS PROJECT welcomes participants at any time through donations of football boots together with support for shipping costs.

At REALE WORLD, we import and sell certified organic coffee, “Him Café,” grown on coffee farms in Nepal through our COFFEE PROJECT. Proceeds help cover the cost of sending football boots to developing countries. Once you have prepared a pair of donated football boots, you can choose one of the options below to support shipping costs by purchasing Him Café coffee beans, ground coffee, or drip coffee packs. By participating this way, you are supporting both the WORLD FRIENDS PROJECT and the COFFEE PROJECT at the same time.

When it comes to football boots, we are grateful to receive pairs that are almost unused—for example, those that did not fit properly. We also welcome pre-owned boots, provided they meet the guidelines below and are still suitable to be “given” to someone else.

In addition to football boots, we also accept other football equipment. Unused training wear, such as jerseys, is especially appreciated. Matching team uniforms and bibs are also very useful, even if they have been previously worn. Children’s daily necessities are also greatly appreciated, as they can make a real difference in local communities. Our simple guideline is this: would you be happy to receive it as a gift? In many developing countries, donated items are not always distributed as originally intended. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for donations to be redirected before they reach the people they were meant to support.

For this reason, REALE WORLD is committed to personally identifying the communities in need and delivering donations directly. Although this approach requires travel expenses in addition to shipping costs, we believe it is the most reliable way to ensure that donations reach the people who truly need them. By visiting these communities ourselves, we also gain a deeper understanding of local challenges and needs, allowing us to provide support that is truly meaningful.

Even when donated items are second-hand or sent as gifts, many developing countries require customs duties to be paid before they can be received. It is not unusual for customs charges to range from ¥2,000 to ¥5,000 per pair of football boots. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we carefully select donated items while taking into account the shipping costs and customs duties that our staff will need to cover.

Sending donations overseas can be expensive. Shipping a single cardboard box typically costs between ¥20,000 and ¥60,000, depending on its destination and weight. In addition to import duties, transportation costs and local staffing are required to deliver donations to the children who need them. Support for the operating costs of the WORLD FRIENDS PROJECT is always welcome. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
