社会貢献しながら、ローカルライフもどっぷり体験できるネパールスタディプログラム! Study Program in Nepal! ~ Experience Local Life & Social Contribution ~

現地のスタッフと一緒にボランティア活動しながら、ネパールのローカルライフにもどっぷり浸かる、普通の観光ではできない体験ができるのがレアーレワールドのスタディプラグラム。

ボランティア活動や、現地の子どもたちとの交流を通して、教科書やネットの情報では得られない様々な気づきや学びを得ることができます。

今回、2024年10月に開催されたレアーレカップで集まったシューズなどをネパールの子どもたちに届ける活動に参加してくれるボランティアを探していたところ、手を挙げてくれたのは、長崎在住の高橋咲江さん。

最初に、高橋さんが今回のネパールでの体験を通して思ったこと、感じたことをご紹介してから、今回のプログラムの具体的な活動を紹介したいと思います。

Reale World organizes a study program in Nepal. During the program, you can experience local life and social contribution with one of our staff who is living there.

Through volunteers and interactions with local children, you can gain various insights and opportunities that can’t be obtained from textbooks and the internet.

This time, Ms Sae Takahashi joined this program and brought soccer shoes which were donated in the last Reale Cap to Nepali children. First, we will share her reflections on the experience in Nepal. Then, we will share details of this program.

◾️モノは少ないけど、小さな幸せに溢れていたネパール
Less Things but, Full of Happiness

「ネパールに行くのは、治安とか大丈夫かなって、ちょっと勇気が要りました。でも実際に行ってみたら、ネパールの方々、みんな優しかったし、思っていたよりも全然危険という感じではありませんでした。

　物に溢れている日本と違って、必要最低限の物で生活しているのに、日々の暮らしの中で小さい幸せを見つけて暮らしているのは素敵だなと感じました。

　今回私は、寄付品に届けるボランティアとして参加したのですが、運んでいるときは、まだボランティア活動に参加しているという実感がなかったのですが、子どもたちに自分で手渡してみて、彼らが喜んでいる姿を目の前で見ることができて、遥々日本から運んできてよかったと、しみじみ感じました」（高橋さん）

“I was wondering if it was safe or not before going to Nepal. However, it was totally different than I expected. People there are so kind and it was totally safe. I think it is wonderful how people find small happiness even though they live their life without a lot of stuff, compared to Japan. When I carried the donations from Japan, I still didn’t feel like I had joined a volunteer activity. However, when I saw children’s smiles with the donations, I thought it was the best decision to join this wonderful program.” -Ms Takahashi.

日程については、参加するボランティアの方の予定と渡航先の予定を調整しながら決めていくのですが、今回は6泊7日、12月17日から23日の日程となりました。

今回、高橋さんに運んでいただいたのは、10月に開催されたレアーレカップの靴の一部とトレーニングウエアなどスーツケース1個分の寄付品。
12月17日夜、長崎から飛行機を乗り継いで、スーツケースと共に到着した高橋さんを現地スタッフがカトマンズの空港にお出迎えし、スタディプログラムがスタートしました。

We adjust and decide the date with participants. This time, it was from December 17th to December 23rd.

Ms.Takahashi helped us to bring a suitcase of donations from the last Reale Cup. Inside the suitcase were soccer shoes and training wear. When she arrived at Kathmandu airport, one of our staff whoｍ is living in Nepal, was there to welcome her. It was a great start to the study program!

◾️子どもたちとの距離が一気に縮まる「MY FOOTBALL KIT」プログラム
My Football Kit Program  ~Became Close to Children!~

現地の子どもたちとぜひ交流して欲しいと考え、今回は、２つの学校で「MY FOOTBALL KIT」を使ったプログラムを行いました。

We wanted her to interact with the Nepali children as an experience. We did this by hosting a My Football Kit program at 2 different schools.

「MY FOOTBALL KIT」は、株式会社モルテン（本社：広島県広島市）が展開する組み立て式サッカーボールのキット。子どもたちの脳を刺激し、豊かな思考を培う機会を提供することを目的としています。

まず、最初に訪れたのは、カトマンズ郊外のShankhadal Memorial School。3年生約50人が参加しました。

こちらのスクールではレアーレのコーチたちが体育の授業のインストラクターを務めており、今回は、体育の授業の一環として開催。ボール作りを通して、日本からボランティア参加した高橋さんも生徒とすっかり仲良しに！

My Football Kit is a soccer ball kit which is made by Molten. It provides an opportunity to cultivate the children’s thoughts and ways of thinking.

At first, we visited Shankhadar Memorial school. This time, around 50 3rd grade students joined. Our Reale coaches work there as PE instructors so we integrated this into their normal PE class. While constructing soccer balls, Ms.Takahashi and Nepali kids became really close with each other!

もう１箇所は、FCレアーレ・ネパールのあるエリアにあるSwopna Sansaar school  で、2年生～4年合同で50人弱参加しました。
こちらの校長先生は、ネパールの未来のために何かしたいと教育分野で活動することを決め、日本で小学校を見学し、その後ネパールで学校を設立。
日本から来たMy Football Kitプログラムにも興味を持ってくれ、今回、この学校での実現の運びとなりました。
ここでは、学校の庭にて、My Football Kitプログラムを実施。
生徒も先生も初めてなので、みんなで試行錯誤しながら、エキサイティングな時間となり、完成後は、ボランティアの高橋さんも子どもたちと一緒になって、ボール遊びで楽しい時間を過ごしました。

「ボール作りに取り組む子どものたちの目はとても真剣。試行錯誤してみんなで協力してやっと出来上がった時瞬間の、やったーという喜びのエネルギーがすごかった！そんな風に子どもたちが喜んでいる姿が見れて、私も嬉しくなりました」（高橋さん）

After that, we were hosted at Swopna Sansaar school. There were around 50 kids ranging from 2nd to 4th grade. The principal there wanted to do something for the future of Nepal and decided to work on the education aspect.  He has been to a Japanese school to observe and then established a school in Nepal.

He showed interest in the My Football Kit which came from Japan and  made this program happen.

Everyone had an exciting time figuring things out together! After the kits were completed, children played with the balls alongside Ms.Takahashi. They had a great time together!

“The childrens were so focused as they worked on making the balls. When they finally finished, they were smiling with the outcome!  Seeing the children full of happiness made me really happy too.”-Ms.Takahashi.

◾️まるでアドベンチャーツアー！村のサッカークラブにレアーレカップの靴をお届けAdventure Time! ~Deliver Shose to Village Soccer Club~

今回のスタディプログラムのメインとなるのは、村のサッカークラブの子どもたちにレアーレカップの靴を届けるイベントです。

ネパールのFCレアーレ出身の選手が、地元の子どもたちにサッカーを教えており、その子どもたちとぜひ交流して欲しいということで、Shahanshil youth Clubを訪問することになりました。

カトマンズから車で1時間半の村にあるShahanshil youth Club。

カトマンズを離れるにつれ、道は細くなり、周りの景色も変わります。車一台通れる未舗装の道の先に見えてきたのは、崖っぷちの空き地。

木の枝を組み合わせて作った手作りのゴールが２つあるそこが、この村のグラウンドで、小学生から高校生まで男子女子合わせて70人近くの子どもたちが集まっていました。

今回は、FCレアーレの日本とネパールのコーチも同行し、サッカークリニック＋寄付の贈呈というプログラム。

高橋さんは、女子グループに入って、一緒にサッカーのトレーニングに参加。

普段着のまま、サンダル履きや裸足で、それでもサッカーを楽しむ子どもたち。ボロボロのボールに土埃の舞うグラウンドですが、そんな環境で子どもたちと過ごしてもらった1日。練習の後には、高橋さん自らが遥々日本から運んできた寄付品を子どもたちに贈呈しました。

「どんなところに行くのかと道中は、ドキドキしたけど、村の子どもたち、みんな可愛くて、とても楽しかったし、自分が運んできた品を受け取った子どもたち嬉しそうな姿を着れて、私もとても嬉しくなりました」と高橋さん。

帰路に着く頃には女子選手たちとすっかりに仲良くなっていました。

The main event of this study program was delivering soccer shoes to the village soccer club called the Shahansil Youth Club. One of the players from Fc Reale Nepal became a soccer coach in his hometown. It is located 1 hour away from Kathmandu by car.

Their ground is located on a cliff with no grass. The soccer goals are made by sticks. On that day, about 70 elementary to high school students gathered. Coaches from Fc Reale Nepal and Fc Reale Japan accompanied us and held a soccer clinic. We also brought donations from the last Reale Cup in Japan.

The children didn’t have uniforms or soccer shoes so they played soccer with casual clothes and sandals. Some of them didn’t even have sandals, so they played with no shoes. “I was anxious before going there. However, my experience there was amazing! When I saw they were happy to receive donations, I also felt so happy.”-Ms.Takahashi

◾️FCレアーレの子どもたちと交流　Interact with Reale Kids!

レアーレワールドのスタディプログラムの定番は、FCレアーレ・ネパールの子どもたちとの交流です。

今回、ちょうど、冬のレアーレカップ開催中でしたので、土曜日はレアーレカップの観戦、日曜日に朝練の見学と、両方を楽しんでもらいました。
朝練の後には、U11のレアーレキッズ宅を訪問。子どもたちがどんな家に住んでいるのか、どんな家族構成なのかを実際に見学してもらいました。
訪問したのは、グラウンドから徒歩5分の家に住んでいる女子選手の家。３階建ての家に複数の世帯が住んでいるアパートです。訪問したお家は、ただの四角い1部屋に四人暮らし。水場やトイレは１階の裏庭にあり共同です。村から出てきて、お父さんは中東に出稼ぎ、お母さんは絨毯織りの内職というよくある一般家庭です。

お母さんにお茶をご馳走になりながら、いろんな話を聞き、ローカルな暮らしを垣間見る貴重な機会となりました。

A staple of the study program is interaction with Reale kids!

On Saturday, Ms.Takahashi went to watch Reale Cup. The next day, she visited Fc Reale’s morning training. After that, she went to see one of the player’s family to know how they live their life.

The house she visited was 5 minutes away by walk from the ground. Her house is an apartment and has only one room for the 4 of them. They shared a bathroom/shower room with their neighbors. They moved from the village prior and her father left for the Middle East for work. Her mother works at home as a carpet weaver of which  is very common in the area. It was a valuable opportunity to hear various stories and to experience local life.

◾️陶器工場で職人さんの手業を見学、地元の人に混じって屋台、ダルバートを手で食べるなど、ローカルな体験も盛りだくさん　Experience Local Life!

レアーレワールドのスタディプログラムでは、ボランティア活動だけでなく、現地の人々の日々の暮らしに触れたり、地元の人々との交流する時間もたっぷりとってあります。
レアーレグラウンドのあるティミエリアの、古くからの街並みの残る路地裏を歩いたり、レアーレのコーチ宅にて、ネパール料理を現地の人のように手で食べることに挑戦したり、地元の人に混じって屋台のスナックを食べたりとローカルな体験ができるのもレアーレワールドのスタディプログラムの大きな魅力。
古くから焼き物職人さんが住むプラノティミ地区では、地元の人が素焼きの植木鉢やオイルランプ皿を作る様子を見たり、陶器工場を見学したりと、普通のツアーではなかなか行けないところにも足を運びました。

「いろんなネパールを知れて、いろんな新しい体験ができて、とても楽しかったし、ネパールをより好きになりました」（高橋さん）

In our study program, you can also experience local life. For example, walking in the back alleys of Thimi, where there is traditional townscape, trying Nepali homemade foods at the Reale coach’s house, enjoying street snacks with the locals, etc…

レアーレワールドでは、このワールドフレンズプロジェクトに寄せられた品を途上国の子どもたちに届け、現地の子どもたちと交流するスタディプログラムに参加するボランティアを募集しています。
日本の子どもたちから寄付された品を、日本の若者が途上国の子どもたちに届け、現地の子どもたちと交流することで、参加するすべての人に成長のきっかけとしてもらうことが目的です。

社会貢献活動に加えディープなローカル体験ができるのがレアーレワールドのスタディプログラム。

Our World Friends Project makes children grow mentally by delivering donations to developing countries.

Currently, we are looking for volunteers who want to deliver donations and join our study program.

The goal is for all participants to grow through the experience of interacting with locals. In addition to contributing to society, our study program offers a deep local experience. Everyone can participate!!
