若い力と共に、エチオピアに靴を届ける準備が進行中！With Young Power Project To Deliver Shoes To Ethiopia Ongoing !

昨年10月に行われた「U-12レアーレカップ」で集まった靴、124足。
それらの靴を、エチオピアの子どもたちに届けるための準備が始まりました。

「レアーレカップ」は、「本気と社会貢献」をテーマにした子どものためのサッカー大会。参加費の代わりに、途上国の子どもたちに送るものを持参してもらっています。

昨年10月に行われた「U-12レアーレカップ2021」では、エチオピアの子どもたちに送る靴を、参加する子どもたちに持参してもらいました。

コロナ禍の様々な制限のために遅くなってしまいましたが、規制もかなり緩くなってきましたので、11月にエチオピア渡航を計画し、具体的な準備に入ったところです。

エチオピア現地における手配やサポートは、エチオピア出身のヨナス・シレシさんが全面的に協力してくださることになっています。

東京でアフリカ料理店「de’ Afrique」を経営しているヨナスさんは、以前にも、レアーレオンラインアカデミーでスピーカーとして登壇いただくなど、レアーレワールドの活動に協力してくださっています。

「ワールドフレンズプロジェクト」は本当に必要としているところに、必要な支援をすることで、より良い変化を起こすことを目的にしているので、現地の方のサポートは絶対に欠かせません。
今回は、現地で支援先とのコンタクトや、現地での通訳の手配などをご協力してくださります。

そして、今回は、国際交流や国際協力活動に積極的に携わっている日本の青年2人が、レアーレワールドのスタッフと共に、エチオピアに渡ってくれることになりました。

ウクライナ避難民の支援をする一般社団法人TTE避難民支援協会で代表理事をなさっている渡邊修平さんと、立命館アジア太平洋大学2回生の安冨太陽さんです。

お2人ともにサッカー経験がおありということで、サッカー教室など、サッカーを通したエチオピアの子どもたちとの交流も計画しています。

彼らのエチオピアでの活動が、現地の青少年たちはもちろんのこと、日本の青少年が世界に目を向けるきっかけとなり、関わる全ての人の価値観をアップデートし、それぞれの人生がさらに輝き、ひいては世界に希望をもたらしていきたい。

それも、「ワールドフレンズプロジェクト」の大きな目的です。

今回は、現地からの活動報告などもタイムリーにお届けしていきたいと計画中。

レアーレカップで寄付してくれた子どもたちをはじめ、多くの日本の若者に活動の模様を広く伝えてまいりたいと考えておりますので、情報の拡散や、「ワールドフレンズプロジェクト」へのご支援の程、どうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。

Project To Deliver Shoes To Ethiopia Ongoing !

124 pairs of shoes gathered at “U-12 REALE CUP” held last October.
Preparation to deliver them to children in Ethiopia has just started.

“REALE CUP” is a soccer competition for children with its theme of “Seriousness and Social Contributions.”
Instead of a participation fee, we ask for something to send children living in developing countries.
It was shoes delivered to Ethiopian children that were collected at “U-12 REALE CUP 2021.”

There were some delays caused by Covid-19 but we have started preparation to make a voyage to Ethiopia in November.

Mr. Yonas SILESI from Ethiopia, who manages African restaurant “de’ Afrique” in Tokyo will give us full support for local arrangements such as contact to local destinations and translations.
He always gladly cooperates with REALE WORLD and once appeared on the platformt at REALE Online Acadeny.

“World Friends Project” aims to produce a change by backing up needed support where really needs it, so help from local people is essential.

And this time, two of the young Japanese men involving in international cooperation activities will depart for Ethiopia
along with a REALE WORLD staff.

Mr. Shuhei WATANABE, the Chairman of the Board of General Incorporated Association TTE Refugees Support, supporting Ukrainian refugees and Mr. Taiyo YASUTOMI, a sophomore of Ritsumeikan Asia Pasific University.
Both of them are former soccer players, planning to open soccer class for interaction with Ethiopian children.

We hope their activities in Ethiopia will become a good chance for local youth and also Japanese youth to look abroad, and update the sense of values. Furthermore, it will brighten up their lives and spread a hope all over the world.
Those are also the big purpose of “World Friends Project.”

This time the activities will be reported from local field on a timely basis.
