「続ける力が、未来をつくる」“The Power of Perseverance Shapes the Future”

― オリンピアン中村和美バレーボールクリニック in ネパール開催報告 ―
– Report on the REALE Volleyball Clinic in Nepal with Olympian Kazumi Nakamura –

2025年12月11日から14日まで、レアーレワールドアンバサダーのオリンピアン中村和美氏と日本の大学生がネパールを訪れ、現地のバレーボールクラブおよび学校にて、2回目となる「レアーレバレーボールクリニック in Nepal」を開催しました。
コートに集まったネパールの選手たちは、十分な設備や練習用具が揃っているとは言えない環境の中で、日々バレーボールに向き合っています。

From December 11 to 14, 2025, REALE WORLD Ambassador and Olympian Kazumi Nakamura visited Nepal with a group of Japanese university students to host the second “REALE Volleyball Clinic in Nepal” at local volleyball clubs and schools.

Many of the Nepali athletes who gathered on the courts continue to practice daily in environments that lack sufficient equipment and training facilities.

そんな選手たちに、中村講師が伝え続けたメッセージがあります。

何のためにこの練習をするのかを常に意識する

努力し続ける

決して諦めない

目標を持つ

そして、全員が心を一つにしてボールをつなげる

一つ一つの動き、練習メニューの中に意味がある。
意識してトライし、それを続けることが「上手くなる」ことにつながる。
そして、日々の練習で積み重ねた努力は、バレーボールのためだけではなく、必ず人生そのものを豊かにしてくれる。

このクリニックは、そんな熱いメッセージを届けるための挑戦でした。

Coach Nakamura shared consistent and powerful messages with the players:

Always be aware of the purpose behind each training session
Keep putting in the effort
Never give up
Set clear goals
And connect the ball as one team, with one heart

Each movement and drill has meaning. By consciously trying and continuing to do so, players will steadily improve.

The efforts accumulated in daily practice not only help in volleyball—but also enrich one’s entire life. This clinic was a powerful attempt to deliver those messages.

学校の体育の授業では、生徒たちにバレーボールの楽しさや魅力を伝える時間を。
より高みを目指すクラブチームの選手たちには、選手として、そして一人の人間として成長するための「きっかけ」と「ヒント」を届ける時間を。

世界の頂点を知るオリンピアンの言葉と姿勢は、確実に選手たちの心を動かしました。
腕の力だけなく、身体全体でボールを返すこと、ジャンプする時の最後のステップは素早く力強く。練習でも本番の試合同様に一本一本を大事に。
そんな意識の少しの変化でも、確実に違いとなってプレーに現れます。

目が真剣になり、レシーブがセッターにきれいに返り、スパイクの高さが一段と増す。

その変化を目の前で感じることができたことは、大きな価値のある瞬間でした。

For physical education classes at schools, the clinic brought fun and excitement around volleyball.
For club players aiming higher, it offered key “triggers” and “insights” for growth—both as athletes and as human beings.

Kazumi Nakamura, who has stood at the pinnacle of global competition, deeply moved the hearts of the young players.

Using the whole body—not just the arms—to return the ball.
Taking a sharp and strong final step in a jump.
Treating every ball in practice just like it’s in a real match.

Even small changes in awareness visibly transformed their performance:
Their eyes became sharper.
Their receives connected cleanly to the setter.
Their spikes reached new heights.

Seeing such changes firsthand was a moment of tremendous value.

また、日本から参加した大学生たちにとっても、ネパールで過ごした日々は忘れられない時間となりました。

「教えるよりも、学ぶことの方が多かった」
クリニックを終えた彼女たちから、そんな声が聞こえてきました。

言葉も文化も異なる環境で、バレーボールを通して心が通い合うという体験。
自分たちの環境が当たり前ではなく、支えられてきたという事実。
そして、日本の常識とは異なる価値観の中で生きる人々がいるという現実。
彼女たちの視線は、確実に世界へと広がっていきました。

:For the Japanese university students, the days spent in Nepal became unforgettable.
Some said：
“We ended up learning more than we taught.”

Despite language and cultural differences, they experienced true connection through volleyball.

They realized their environment wasn’t to be taken for granted—that they’ve always been supported.
They saw that people around the world live with values different from those in Japan.

Their perspectives clearly expanded toward the world.

今回の「レアーレバレーボールクリニック in Nepal」、開催場所は以下の５ヶ所。クラブチームと学校にてバレーボール初心者から代表選手まで様々な選手たちと接することができました。

The clinic was held at five locations across clubs and schools, interacting with players ranging from complete beginners to national-level athletes.

さらに12月14日には、女子ネパール代表チームのトレーニング見学に招待されました。
2026年・愛知で開催されるアジア競技大会で「ベスト8」を目標に日々練習に取り組む選手たちへ、中村講師から励ましのメッセージが贈られました。

On December 14, the team was invited to observe a training session of the Nepal Women’s National Team, who are aiming for a Top 8 finish at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi, Japan. Coach Nakamura delivered a message of encouragement to the players working toward that goal.

Though the clinic lasted only four days, it was filled with meaningful, intense, and joyful moments.

4日間という短い期間ではありましたが、非常に濃く、充実した時間となりました。
バレーボールを通して生まれた、言葉を超えた交流、熱、そして笑顔。

REALE WORLD が目指すのは、一人ひとりが、自分の人生を自分らしく歩き出す「きっかけ」を生み出すことです。

このネパールでのバレーボールクリニックは、確かに多くの若者の心に変化をもたらしました。そして、確かな“火”を灯しました。

その火は、これからも彼女たちの未来を照らし続けてくれるはずです。
続ける力。
それを自ら証明し続けるためにも、REALE WORLDは、これからもバレーボールクリニックを継続していきます。
